Onboarding: Your First 30 Minutes

A step-by-step walkthrough of setting up AITWIRE from signup to your first AI Update.

Step 1: Complete Your Profile

After signing up, you will land on the onboarding wizard. Fill in:

  • Business name — exactly how you want AI systems to reference you
  • Website URL — your primary domain (e.g., https://acme.com)
  • Industry — select the closest match; this tailors probes and signals
  • Step 2: Review Your AI Signals

Go to AI Signals (sidebar > AI Signals). AITWIRE scans your website and the facts you have confirmed, then assembles machine-readable signals for your review:

  • Brand Canon — your canonical facts and positioning, the ground truth AITWIRE verifies against
  • AI Answers — FAQ-style answers grounded in those facts
  • JSON-LD / Structured Data — machine-readable schema for AI crawlers
  • AITWIRE proposes; you review and approve. This is suggest-and-confirm — nothing goes live until you confirm it, and AITWIRE never writes your prose for you.

    Step 3: Approve and Publish

Review each signal and click Approve to make it live. Approval triggers:

  • Publication to your /.well-known/entity.json and other authority surfaces
  • An IndexNow ping to notify AI crawlers
  • The 72-hour verification window
  • Step 4: Run Your First Assessment

Go to AI Signals > Assessments tab and click Run Assessment.

The assessment scans your website for:

  • Schema/JSON-LD validation
  • Meta tag quality
  • Security posture (HTTPS, HSTS, CSP)
  • DNS trust signals (DMARC, SPF)
  • Content freshness
  • You will get an AI representation read (0–100) with specific recommendations.

Step 5: Connect Integrations (Optional but Recommended)

Go to Settings > Integrations and connect your platforms:

  • Shopify / WooCommerce / Square — syncs products, prices, inventory
  • WordPress — extracts pages, posts, and metadata
  • Google Business Profile — pulls reviews, hours, location
  • Stripe — enables commerce and payment tracking
  • After connecting, review your signals again for richer, better-grounded coverage.

Step 6: Add Products to the Catalog

If you sell anything, go to Commerce > Catalog and add your products/services.

Catalog items are live the moment you save them — they flow directly into your JSON-LD, entity.json, and AI Monitor probes.

    What Happens Next

AITWIRE now runs the Measure, Fix, Prove loop on your plan schedule:

  • Probes fire on your plan schedule (monthly/weekly/daily) across 9 probed AI systems covering 90%+ of AI-answer traffic
  • Accuracy, citation, sentiment, quality, recommendation, and competitive position are tracked per system
  • Drift alerts notify you when AI starts getting things wrong
  • The dashboard assistant (Standard+) guides you based on your current state
